Maternity Sizing Info
We know trying to figure out the size you need in maternity clothes is a serious chore. We do wish there was an easy equation or simple size spitter-outer we could give you, but there isn't because every woman's body carries babies differently. So, this is what we have found to help our customers in our boutiques and it seems to really work, or at the very least, be really helpful.
As a general rule, we recommend you start your Size Journey with your pre-pregnancy size. From there, we ask where in your pregnancy you are in. And lastly, we remind you not to worry about that number or letter on the tag. Our goal is, and your investment in your wardrobe should always be, your comfort.
So, if you are just starting your maternity wardrobe and in the earlier "bump" stages (weeks 11-20), following the designer's size chart is pretty safe. If you are in the later "belly" stages of your pregnancy (weeks 21-40), you should consider sizing up from what the vendor chart states. And with tops, always consider your chest size. If they need more room, by all means give them more room and consider sizing up from the designer's size chart.
If you need any help at all with sizing questions, please call us at 888.496.6684 or email us at info@picklesandicecream.com. Talking to pregnant mommies is what we love to do at Pickles & Ice Cream.
We have compiled the Designer's Size Charts below for you reference. Again, call us if you have any questions.
You may need to disable your Pop-Up Blockers in order to view the sizing guides. They will open in a new window.
